United Nations Day

I came to this Genesis School day event thinking it would be like any other normal school day event.
Boy, was i wrong.
The school is made up nationalities all over the globe.
What caught me unprepared was that all the students were autistic or mentally-challenged.
But they were all so loving, so cheerily and spontaneous!
And their parents, all coming in together hand-in-hand, to make the day a special one for the school and their kids.
They bought food, dolled up themselves, showed their country and culture with each nation devising up a game to get the program going.



























The parents were an admirable lot.
No wonder they say " God only gives Special children to Special parents ".
